Dr. V. Kumar is the recipient of the 2007 AMA Strategy SIG Mahajan Award for Lifetime Contributions to Marketing Strategy. The Vijay Mahajan Award is named after marketing Professor Vijay Mahajan to honor his career contributions and advancements in marketing strategy. Each year the AMA strategy SIG selects a marketing educator who has made sustained contributions to the literature on marketing strategy for 10 or more years.
